Responsible for the daily operations of assembly equipment to include changeovers, troubleshooting and diagnose/resolution of equipment capability. In addition, the specialist will lead scrap reduction and continuous improvement activities as well as coordinate and communicate information between shifts. The specialist will monitor assembly equipment processing conditions, correct problems and perform preventative maintenance activities. Responsible for quality, reliability, cleanliness and productivity of the equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude, electrical/electronic knowledge, solid leadership skills, computer knowledge and ability to think clearly and make decisions in critical situations. Strong knowledge of assembly equipment fundamentals to include digital, photo sensors, electrical and mechanical adjustments including the safe startup, operation and shutdown. The position is 2nd shift. Requirements: Associates Degree in related technical field or equivalent of 5 years training and/or experience preferably in manufacturing environment.
